At Outreach Services, we deliver compassionate, evidence-based psychology services tailored to the unique needs of NDIS participants. Our mission is to support individuals in building resilience, enhancing mental wellbeing, and improving daily functioning through personalised psychological care.

We work with people of all ages and abilities. Our services support individuals living with a wide range of disabilities and mental health conditions, including intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), psychosocial disability, acquired brain injury, anxiety, depression, and other related challenges.

Our team of registered and provisional psychologists offers a broad range of therapeutic supports tailored to each participant’s goals and circumstances. We assist with emotional regulation, anxiety, mood disorders, social skills development, behavioural management, and coping strategies. We also provide trauma-informed care, psychoeducation for individuals and families, and support with capacity building and goal setting—all aimed at enhancing independence and quality of life.

We adopt a person-centred, strengths-based approach, empowering participants to build on their abilities and work towards meaningful goals. Our team utilises evidence-based therapies and varied techniques to address a variety of mental health and behavioural needs.

To ensure flexibility and accessibility, we offer services in a range of formats, including in-home, school-based, community-based, and telehealth sessions via secure video conferencing.

No, a medical referral is not required to access our services. We welcome direct contact from participants, carers, support coordinators, or plan managers to initiate the process. We will guide you through the next steps, including understanding your NDIS plan, identifying your goals, and arranging an initial consultation to discuss how we can best support you.

Yes. If you have funding under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living or other relevant categories, our psychology services can be funded through your NDIS plan. In some cases, psychology services may also be accessed under Improved Relationships or other capacity-building areas, depending on your specific goals and plan objectives. If you’re unsure whether your current plan covers psychological support, our team can help you review your funding and guide you through the next steps to access services.

During this session, the psychologist will conduct a comprehensive initial assessment and begin developing a personalised support plan in collaboration with you. Based on your individual goals, specific needs, and the details of your NDIS plan, we will determine an appropriate session frequency—this may range from weekly to monthly, depending on what best supports your progress and preferences.
