Speech Therapy

At Outreach Services we provide high-quality, evidence-based speech therapy services designed to meet the individual needs of NDIS participants. Our experienced speech pathologists are committed to helping participants improve their communication skills, enhance social participation, and increase independence in daily life. We focus on delivering personalised care that aligns with each participant’s unique goals and NDIS plan.
Our speech therapy services are available to NDIS participants of all ages under Capacity Building. We support individuals with a range of conditions such as speech delays, language and communication difficulties, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disability, hearing impairments, swallowing and feeding issues, stuttering, voice disorders and acquired brain injury (ABI).
Our speech therapists offer a variety of services based on each person’s goals. These include helping with clear speech, building vocabulary, making longer sentences, and improving conversation skills. We also support non-verbal communication and can provide tools like picture boards or speech devices for those who need different ways to communicate. For those with feeding or swallowing difficulties, we offer gentle therapy to help with safe eating and drinking. We also help improve how someone uses their voice—such as volume, tone, and clarity.
We understand that every participant is unique, which is why we offer flexible service delivery options to suit individual needs. Our services can be delivered through in-person sessions at the participant’s home, or at school. We also provide telehealth sessions via secure video conferencing for added convenience. Additionally, we offer community-based therapy, allowing participants to practice communication skills in real-world settings and improve their social interactions.
Our approach is based on the strengths of each person. We work closely with families, carers, and support coordinators to create therapy plans that are meaningful and practical. Our goal is to help each person gain independence and improve their quality of life.
To access our services, contact us by phone or email. After an initial assessment, we’ll create a personalised therapy plan and set a suitable session frequency based on your goals.
